Why I Make This Work

I came to jewelry through a love of making things by hand - of working slowly, experimenting, and learning by doing. What began as curiosity grew into a practice rooted in patience, process, and attention to detail.

I’m drawn to materials and techniques that allow me to stay closely connected to the work. Shaping, refining, and assembling each piece by hand creates space for exploration and discovery. I enjoy not knowing exactly how a piece will turn out when I begin, and allowing it to evolve naturally as I work.

Slow creation matters to me. Taking time allows each piece to develop its own character, rather than being rushed toward a predetermined outcome. I believe there is value in imperfection, variation, and the quiet marks left by the hand.

My work is inspired by everyday beauty - natural forms, subtle textures, and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. I create jewelry meant to be worn, lived in, and returned to over time. Pieces that feel personal, thoughtful, and quietly expressive.

A Hands-On Process

Every piece begins at the workbench, shaped and assembled by hand. Working this way keeps me closely connected to the materials and the process, allowing decisions to be made thoughtfully as the piece comes together.

Slow, Intentional Design

I choose to work slowly, giving each piece the time it needs to develop. This pace allows for careful consideration, experimentation, and refinement, rather than rushing toward a fixed result.

Letting Each Piece Become Itself

Not every detail is planned from the start. I enjoy allowing pieces to evolve naturally as I work, responding to the materials and letting subtle changes shape the final form.

Studio Details

My studio is a place of focus, experimentation, and quiet problem-solving. It’s where ideas take shape through repetition, small adjustments, and attention to the details that make each piece unique.
